My third set of experiments was several small frozen entrees, which were all successful. :)
In each case, I left them overnight in a soft-sided cooler, so they were defrosted when I started them.
The highlights were a Banquet beef pot pie (took about 5 hours):
PERFECT size:
after about 5 hours (I had peeked inside a couple of times, which let heat escape, so "normally" would have been more fully cooked):
it was somewhat undercooked, but equivalent to a microwave, and quite tasty:
... and a HotPocket (took about 3 hours):
I reused the beef pot pie's baking container:
after about 3 hours:
I had previously tried one HotPocket on my dash, but it didn't really seem cooked enough, so I had finished it using my butane stove.
The crockpot HotPocket was fine. :)
