This is the latest iteration of my original tortilla bowl experiment.
This time, I cooked it in a crockpot. :)
The final result was good, and the cleanup was none to minimal.
Note: This is one of several recent experiments wherein I'm using my shorter (800 mL)
backpacking pot as an insert into the crockpot, to make prep & cleanup much easier.
Important: every crockpot is different, so experiment carefully with yours to find the best length of cooking time.
During my 1st run, I checked twice and re-stirred each time. Currently, I'm not bothering to stir, however you may prefer to.
Before my first attempt, I checked
Frater Secessus' crockpot experiments
to see if he'd done anything similar, and he had, which gave me an excellent starting point,
as well as increased confidence. :)
Thanks GeekBrother! :]
