For a while, I've had a craving for a cheese steak sandwich, and the local sales finally aligned! :)
Instead of using some fancy/expensive beef,
I used a packet of "Buddig" precooked sliced beef, which is a fridge free friendly size (2 ounces),
often available for $0.80 per packet, and very easy to use.
The final meal wasn't as good as a "high end" product, but was
inexpensive and very tastee! :)
Cooked onions, beef, and green pepper:
After adding & melting cheese:
A portion, loaded into a cheap hamburger bun:
Another sandwich:

"melting" cheese (2~ oz) | 150 | $0.25 |
2 hamburger buns | 220 | $0.25 |

The green pepper and hamburger buns were on sale, everything else was at the low end of their price ranges.
