Kaylee's not-a-blog » Food » Meals » copycat Crunchwrap Supreme, using cabbage

Recently, a regional grocery store had a sale on both sour cream and shredded cabbage ($1 for a 14 ounce bag of Dole brand "classic coleslaw", which is just shredded cabbage & carrots), the same week as KwikTrip (a MidWest gas station chain that often has some excellent food bargains) had yet-another-sale on precooked taco flavored ground beef, so, of course, I indulged and made crunchwraps. :)

I was a wee bit nervous about substituting cabbage for lettuce, however it was half the price, and cabbage typically lasts about twice as long as lettuce, so it was a worthwhile experiment.
It worked well. :)

If you're not sure how to fold it, there's many YouTube (and other) videos online.
Experiment, and don't worry. :)

Bottom line:

Cabbage works well in a crunchwrap! :)
A big bonus is that it lasts longer than lettuce, so is better for solo cooks, regardless of whether one has a fridge.
