This winter, I had run short on many bread and sweet items, so decided to open an eight and a half year old #2 can of Augason Farms pancake mix.
This was the first time I'd made pancakes in my van, and it had been about 8 years since the last time I'd ever made them.
I was very pleased with how easy, fast, and morale boosting they were. :)
I didn't have any "regular" syrup, so I experimented with various sweeteners & other accompaniments, all of which worked well. :)
The experiments were so successful that during my next resupply (Dollar General)
I bought a two pound box of pancake mix and a cheap bottle of pancake syrup. I will review both, soon. :)
I plan to stock both as standard items in my van pantry.
