I'm a longtime pumpkin food Geek, so when I spotted this (new?) product at a Dollar Tree,
I immediately grabbed a box.
This was located in the seasonal items area, which is usually at the front of each store.
Note that, when doing any Dollar Tree visit, I almost always give myself permission to grab one or two snack items. :)

Disclaimer:
I had heard of moon pies (mainly via the TV Geek character "Sheldon Cooper"),
but probably had never had any before this box, and I hadn't known what they are made of.
The center is marshmallow, which I'm not a fan of (I don't hate it, however the texture just doesn't appeal to me).
The pumpkin flavor part was great, and I definitely did enjoy that. :)
The marshmallow part was "ok", but somewhat disappointing to me.
I might buy another box (purely to get my pumpkin fix), but won't make this a regular part of my pantry.
These cost $1.25 and have 660 calories (per box), so their cost per calorie-day(man)
is $3.79 which is somewhat frugal.
There's no noteworthy nutritional perk.
I will continue buying frugal pumpkin products, whenever I see them. :)
