» stovetop Garlic Bread using hotdog buns
Recently, I had a craving for garlic bread, but the only available bread was hotdog buns (I've spent the last half year in a food desert, with only a Dollar General for groceries).
After buying some to use for general bread purposes, I decided to try them as garlic bread.
I had very low expectations, and was very pleased with the result. :)
Steps:
- arrange opened hotdog buns in frypan
- spread margarine or butter and Garlic powder on "inside" sides
- flip them over, press down (with a spoon or your preferred utensil), fry/grill (with margarine/butter side down) to desired crispiness
While frying, check often to avoid burning.
