Dollar General has been running a sale on Knorr Sides, so I bought several, and was intrigued by the recipe on the back of the "Butter & Herb" variety.

A local food bank had given me 3 pouches of precooked chicken, and a can of green beans, plus I had one very old (bb 2017) can of green beans that I've long wanted to use up.
Making this recipe would let me use up that old can (and if it was bad I could use the new can).
Plus, it looked yummy, so I decided to try it. :)

I didn't have a separate canister of rosemary, so instead I used regular Italian seasoning, then added dry Basil leaves (both from Dollar Tree).
Instead of lemon juice, I used a packet of "TRUE lemon" crystals (also from Dollar Tree).

Bottom line:

It was much better than it looked, and I plan to have it again! :)

The "TRUE lemon" worked very well. :)
It added a hint of lemon, not overpowering, but a nice enhancement. :)

The 2017 green beans smelled fine, so I grudgingly used half the can, not expecting anything from them.
After eating about half of the meal, I added the rest, and warmed it up some. :)
I had originally planned to eat only half, but ate all of it in one meal. :)
