» pair of pan fried tortilla pseudo Pizzas
After more experiments, here's my latest iteration of
pan fried tortilla/wrap pseudo Pizza.
The main changes are:
- I (almost) always use ultra cheap Dollar Tree tortillas
- I pre-fold two, and fry them at the same time
Steps:
- add a bit of oil to your frypan
- fold two tortillas in half, then place in pan
- add any desired spices to each (I use Italian seasoning and/or dried basil leaves)
- add cheese, spread thinly to maximize melting
- add any other desired topping(s)
- fry (at medium-low to medium heat) the first side, then flip
- after about half a minute on the 2nd side, turn off heat, let "coast"
The main advantages are time and reduced use of fuel.
