Recently I bought a dented #10 can of Nutristore, freeze dried "cooked seasoned Ground Beef patty crumble".
Its price was reduced by about 40% due to the dent, which was reasonable as it would only be appropriate for someone intending to eat it fairly quickly.

It's a lot sharper than it looks (I'll be taking & adding more pictures soon).
For safety reasons, about once per week I move several portions into a sandwich sized baggie.

I've also added it to "loaded" ramen, in place of bacon bits, and am well pleased with that combo. :)

Review:

The "seasoning" is not hot.
It's similar to sausage, and is very noticeable when eaten dry (before hydrating).
After hydration, and when combined with other ingredients, it's very muted, and can be missed.

Every meal I've added this to, has been greatly enhanced in flavor, and protein.
This is the first beef I've had since April, so it's been a considerable treat. :)
I'm very pleased with it, and will buy more, as my budget allows. :)
