This was my 4th experiment with semi carmelizing onions in my crockpot.
My first was "meh", not bad, but I made the
mistake of attempting to cook hashbrown potatoes in the same batch, which detracted from it.
All my subsequent experiments have used no potatoes or a
small quantity of dehydrated sliced potatoes, which worked out much better. :)
One entire raw onion, chopped, with a dollop of margarine, ready to cook:

Prep continued to be very easy, and
the aroma therapy was excellent, just short of Bread. :)
